Dead Man's Wire
"Based
on the true story of Tony Kiritsis, who in 1977 took Richard O. Hall,
the president of a mortgage company, hostage with a sawed-off shotgun wired to
his neck. Kiritsis was a desperate man who felt he had been swindled by the
company and paraded the hostage through downtown Indianapolis to demand justice
and an apology, a situation that was broadcast live on radio and
television. The film explores themes of vigilante justice and systemic
failure through this 1970s-style thriller."
